Having used Psions for years as my "when did you start using Psion" note says and I am used to having connection problems with my laptop.  These days you have to use a USB to Serial Adapter to make it work.  It does work at times--it's almost like it has to catch it at a certain time or something. Sometimes I can just plug it in and it pops right up and like today I can try for hours and nothing happens.  I was backing it up yesterday as it just popped right up and then had to stop the backup just before it finished and that is usually no problem as it will start where it left off.  Now I am in the they won't talk to each other phase.  So I can't hook them up to finish my back up and do other things.  Any suggestions????  I think its harder to hook up using the adapters but we have no choice these days on the newer computers.

Thanks,
Bobby

For me the 9500 gets closest. The keyboard is not as good as a 5mx, but
I think it's 'decent'.

While on the subject of the 9500, I've got a large spreadsheet & it
takes ages scrolling from the top to the bottom & visa versa. Does
anyone know of a quick way to move about the spreadsheet?

Thanks,

Subject: Mbook & Nokia E60

Hello all!

For many years I have been using Ericsson's with 5, 5MX, and for the last 2.5 years an Mbook.
My T39 suddenly turned both mute and deaf, and had to be replaced. I fell in love with a Nokia E60.
However, I have not been able to figure out the settings for using it as a modem. I have also tried to connect to Phoneman Pro, with little success. I have managed to transfer files from the Mbook to the phone, though.
Anyone on the list with some experience on this combination?
