Why not use IRDA to connect your Psion to your PC (even with PsiWin) ? The procedure has been often described. It's a bit long, but works fine with every PC and an IRDA/USB adapter. (Btw : My daughter has a Mac. I tried to connect my 5mx to her Mac through IRDA, but I couldn't find the way).

Like I said it is working now but I also thought about backing up my micro drive on my PC, and using the backup program and back up the C-drive to the micro drive and then on to the laptop is good.  All good tips thanks.\\

Hi All,

My good-old 5mx has developed a problem which I suspect other members of the Digest have faced: the other day, without warning and with no other symptoms, it just stopped reacting to the stylus. As a result I can now use commands via the keyboard only. This means that I have no access to many features/functions on the 5mx, such as Extras, Control Panel, etc. These may have keyboard shortcuts, of course, but I am not aware of them. If anyone knows what has caused this and whether it can be fixed, I would be very grateful. Also, is there somewhere a list of keyboard commands that replace the stylus?
