One option would be to transfer your Psion data files to PsiDat <http://www.millican.info/oldsite/psidat.htm>.This database application can export your files as HTML that you will be able to view on the PC.
Hope this helps.

Jake,
For what you need I am using the desktop versions of List Pro by iliumsoft dotcom and HanDBase by handbase dotcom. Both have versions for Palm and Windows Mobile (I use Palm). ListPro is excellent, Handbase is great. Unlike other programs I have tried out, you don't need to define a data base; you can just import a csv file and then define the fields on screen. It looks great when browsing data on a PC and it has some great features that you
must really try out to appreciate. The reason I use both programs is because I started with ListPro and never wanted to give it up. One problem you may find is that some carriage returns in EPOC Data files are not recognised by either program (I think you need to hold the Alt key when pressing the Enter key). I remember making some tweaks and fixes using MS Word but it was a
long time ago and I don't recall the details right now. Word has some very clever functions in its find and replace facility. For files with only two fields you may wish to try Tome Raider for which I adapted text files using Word. BTW, I still input data files using the EPOC emulator; I think because migration to the other programs is so very easy and not irreversible.
Hope this helps
Joseph

Re.: FlipStart - Give me a netBook any time. Just look at the keys, it is still a thumbboard which looks not much better than my Qtek 9100. Of course I understand it is a full fledged PC but for $ 2,000.- I think there are sub - noteboks available that seem a lot better to me.
Re. SpBackup - For those of you that have a WM5 phone/PDA do yourself a favour and get Spbackup. I have got it now for several months and without failure every morning at 4.00 am it makes a back-up of the internal disk including all settings etc. and keeps it on the external disk after which it does a soft reset. It always keeps the last 3 back-ups and deletes the older ones. I never think about back-ups anymore but if anything does go wrong I know I have got it. One of the best programs I got for my phone.
