Re.: Treo Upgrade - I note you write you use "Documents to go" on your Treo. I am interesting to hear from users whether you are really using this (and similar) programs on your smartphones to write documents. Best regards,

Hi Itamar,

Documents to Go (DTG) is mainly used by myself to keep work related spreadsheets in synchronisation with my pc.

I generate them on my pc, sync them to the Treo 650 with DTG, edit with information as and when necessary,
then the pc version is updated automatically next hotsync.

Sometimes I use it as a viewer for emailled Word documents as well.

I haven't tried it's Powerpoint capability yet.

Just for a laugh I fired up the Microsoft Word section on DTG, much to my surprise they actually cram 3/4 of the width of an A4 page on the 360x360 screen, and there's built in word counting and spell checking. You'd need good eyes though to work with the font in this setting.

I have a question for you !, can you switch your display to landscape mode without opening the keyboard ?

Regards,

Mike Dyer.

Hi netBookers,
is there still anybody, using the netBook with the CISCO card for connecting to the Internet?
I have got trouble with the settings and can't connect.
As I can connect the Nokia 9500 via Wifi, the access point works.

Please tell me all your settings by PM.

Thanks in advance for your hints

BR
Rolf

Hello Charles
My twopennyworth
In response to your digest article I have migrated my psion and phone activities to a SE p910i. To my surprise I use the handwriting recognition for all routine diary activities, I had thought a keyboard would be indispensable. I use Tomtom mobile 5 for car navigation which may not be quite as good as the dedicated car systems but I think it is OK. I also like walking and for this nhGPS software is to my mind brilliant as you can load OS maps and track your route and know pretty accurately where you are. You can also draw your route on the map for saving and later review. I hope the p910 lasts forever.
Best wishes
Tony Napier

Re.: Symbian Agendas - THe question was whether one can use multiple Agenda files and the answer is still no, even though indeed there is a file called Agenda. If you double click on it (I switched on my old P910i) it does not find a program to open the file and in the program itself there is no option to open a second file. The same applies for the contacts file.

Re.: HTC Blue Angel - TomTom Navigator 5 works very well on my WM5 phone, a Qtek 9100. When I get a call the sound of the program automatically switches off and on again when the call is finished. There are several phones like the XDA Exec and I suggest you have a look at several of them in the shops and play around a little to find the one that you like best.

Best regards,

Itamar
