Subject: HTC TyTn II or Touch or Symbian

Hello,

I'm a Psion user and I like that.
I work everyday with a netBook and a Revo.
But sometimes I think I want something else.
But what is a wise decision, I don't have any experience with WM6.
Yes I know there is a big difference between the HTC TyTn II and the Touch.
The HTC TyTn II is a small computer and the HTC Touch is more a smartphone
Or can someone tell me why I have to choose for a Symbian smartphone.

Regards,
Kees.

Subject: Windows Vista and PC Suite

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem or not.  I can't get PC Suite to work with my new computer and Vista.  I have sent notes to several forums that I belong to including several to Nokia support.  They can't seem to help me either.  It is the same with my 9300 and E62.  When I go to connect them up it the PC says it's looking for the drivers.  It then tells me that it can't find them.  But I have learned that Vista has problems looking for some drivers so I point it to the driver folder on my PC and it then will say drivers installed.  I then go to connect again and I keep getting the same response "there is no available connection type and therefore connection to the phone cannot be established. Wizard will exit". I have tired many different suggestions from the Symbian Forum and nothing has worked.  I have had several discussions both email and voice with Nokia support and still to no avail.

It works fine with Windows XP.  I do have the latest 6.84 PC Suite installed and have checked the cables per Nokia direction and installed certain drivers that they directed me to.

It almost seems to me like maybe there is com port problem as it my computer just doesn't seem to recognize that there is anything connected.  This happens in Bluetooth and cable.

I don't know if Steve has seen this or not in his travels???

Thanks,
Bobby

I also found this incredibly useful, but it did not make it into Nokia suite for use with my 9500.

However, interest in this sort of feature seems to have waned as I put the bones of a FileNote macro to carry out some of the functions of CopyAnyWhere on http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/FileNote/message/832?l=1and it did not generate even 1 response from over 100 members on the FileNote forum.
If anyone is interested please provide some comments and ideas and we might be able to get something going.

Best wishes,
Martin O'Neill
