Chuck

Yes, I am still in business!  The problem seems to be with anyone who has
Comcast as their ISP.  Comcast block my emails as spam and despite
contacting them more than 10 times they cannot tell me how I can get emails
through!

Regarding the repairs - yes, still very much in business.  Just approaching
the 3000 repairs mark!  I am also about to launch my version 3 flexi -
significantly advanced from V2 and definitely better than anything on the
market…you wanted reliability - you've got it.  I have been in consultation
with a number of PCB companies and now have a design that uses very advanced
techniques and military style 'dual redundancy' techniques!  Watch this
space for the official launch date.

My guess would be that he is on holiday - like a lot of people here at
this time of year.  I just checked his web site, and there is actually
a news item to that effect:

http://psionflexi.co.uk/holiday.htm
"I realise how important your Psion is to you but I do need a holiday
sometimes!  Therefore the workshop will be closed between Fri 2nd May
and Sun 25th May. I will, however, still be accepting orders during
these times - just don't expect a quick response!"

Seems so!

Chuck

I last used Psion Flexi in March.  I don't know why Paul isn't responding right now - perhaps he's on holiday.

Hi Chuck,
As far as I know Paul is still operating as he repaired my Psion 5mx - broken flxi and loudspeaker - about a month ago with a quick response. I think he still reads this newsletter.

Jean Guillonneau - Thanks for the reply. I did an uninstall, ran Ferret to make sure everything was gone, then reinstalled the app. Works fine now.

I'd still like to know just what the error message means. I hardly ever find error messages helpful. :-)
