Re.: Syncing HTC Touch - Yes, that is correct. Before I started I emptied out Outlook (not Express) and than started the synchronisation. It means that everythin is now in 3 places, on my Ipod Touch, synced to Outlook and than synced to my HTC Touch. However, I don't use it in Outlook, it is just a tool to transfer between the two systems. I only do it a couple of times a week as I don't have that many changesn in my diary and contacts.

Best regards,

Itamar

Re.: abandoned Symbian - Hi Stephane, trust all is well with you. I abandoned Symbian for my phone when I changed from Sony Ericsson to the Qtek 9100 now abt. 2-1/2 years ago. Recently I changed from Vodaphone to T-Mobile and changed phones to the HTC Touch Dual. I think these phones are better than the Symbian ones, a lot of features and functions with touch usage. As I wrote earlier, the synchronisation is also a lot easier, I synchronise a Ipod Touch and my phone via outlook without any problems.
However, I have not yet abandoned the EPOC/Symbian platform totally as I still use my netBook for some emailing, the digest, ABP bank program, Money bookkeeping and some other things. It is still my favourate for a quick email checking, no switch on time, good keyboard, reasonable battery time and more.

Re.: Fax program for 5MX - The series 3 Psions had a fax program but I don't remember there ever was a separate fax program for the series 5. With the right modem however you can send faxes from within the email program of the 5MX. You will need a fax compatible modem. The travelmodem had this function as well as the IR modem from Psion. I still have one somewhere if you are interested. You connect the modem to your telephone line and than you can send faxes. An alternative is to use one of the fax services whereby you send your fax by email to the service Company  who than send it out via fax.

Best regards,

Itamar
