I just received my number from the US Patent Office for my Vehicle Mount. Anybody using these machines for navigation this

is a handy addition. There is one user using the Vehicle Mount in his airplane! Check it out at www.johnstolk.com/Psion/VM

Re.: Palmtop User - I for one will not be renewing my subscription to this magazine. It has very very little Symbian value, even for the newer Symbian platforms, and the rest I find uninteresting.

Answer to: Jim Watson-Gove

Re.: Epoc Wince or Palm??? - Why not advise him to try and buy a 2nd hand Psion on eBay or somewhere else ? Even though not being produced anymore, they are still good machines, specially if needed for a limited period like a trip.

To All

Re. CoDriver - I got it to work with Routeplanner but it does not work with Streetplanner giving an error message "Cannot find Graphini". Has anyone any idea why this happens, and what a solution could be ?

I see frequent references to the  importance of this precaution in

messages on this list -- but haven't a clue as to how to copy my OS to a

CF drive.  Should it be a CF specially set aside for this purpose?  (At

the moment, I've only purchased one 256k card.)

Hello Psioneers

I am touch typing this on my MC218, whilst I listen to a boring debate in the Provincial Legislature. It took me about a week to get used to the small keyboard, and the placing of some of the keys, but I find I can type fairly fast on my psion. I would not use one if I could not do it. When my 5mx, US version had a screen cable failure, I started using the MC218 and had to get used to the different placement of the keys. But it is definitely easy to

touch type on.

then feel free! I've attempted an update on my old article from Palmtop. See what you think.
