Hi Moshe,
I don't know if this place is still open.  I had my Series 7 fixed there
several years ago.  You now how that is they are not always still in
business.
Psion Teklogix Corporation
1810 Airport Exchange Blvd. St.
Erlanger, Kentucky

It might not be of any help but it’s the best that I can do here in the
States.

Thanks,
Bobby

Chris/Moshe

Been keeping my eye on the posts and Moshe's problem does sound like a flexi problem.  Even if it is not then I have plenty of spares to fix the problem anyway!

"He can be a bit slow to respond at present, having a busy domestic life."

This is an understatement!  I currently hold down a full time job, am building my own house and have a 6 week old baby!  On top of all that I still run Psionflexi!  I do my best to respond to every email I get...and I get 75-100 a day.....and I repair about 700 machines a year from over 50 countries!!  I did consider closing Psionflexi whilst I finished the house and, Kayden, my son, was a bit older but I got so many people pleading with me to stay open that I could not resist!

For more information, pricing and to order please see HYPERLINK
"http://www.psionflexi.co.uk"www.psionflexi.co.uk. If you need spares that are not listed on the ordering page then choose 'other spares' and quote my email.

Any help I can provide I will do.

Regards

Let me endorse the suggestion about PsionFlexi. I recently had need of screen repair, my movements necessitating a very complicated process starting in the U.K. and finishing back here in Melbourne. Paul was very busy - but he was also very helpful, and my 5mx is now back in full flight. The charges are indeed very reasonable, international or not.
It seems to me that the outfit to avoid, if it is a screen cable problem only, is POS (whom dear Clove Technology now use as well) who charge like the wounded bull of antiquity. Still, it is a marvel that, one way or another, our splendid machines can be kept in order despite Psion's apostasy.

Merry Christmas to all

Hello,

I think that we all have large CF-cards into our Psions. The synchronisation with the PC with the help of PsiWin isn't an option, because it takes a lot of time. Now I found a good synchronosation program (Good Sync) for the PC. The freeware Good Sync version works
superb.

Hi Kees,
thank you for the tip.
But it doesn't work at my PC.
I'm connecting my Psion S7 with the PC via COM1 port. When I run GoodSync at the PC, the program can't find the Psion as synchronization folder path, whether if run both PsiWin and CopyAnywhere, nor if they don't run.
Pls. give me (and may be other users) any explanation, how you are using this program to save the content of Psion drives at the PC.

BR
Rolf

Do a backup from C to D or E.
Put the CF-card into your cardreader and make a backup with the help of GoodSync from the CF-card to the PC.
The fist time it will take some time, after that it will take a minute. You can synchronise in both directions and you can do it in one way. Click on the green bar between the two locations, there you can make some
preference.

Success.

Regards,

Kees.
