Check your location and set Daylight saving time manually. I wouldn't know how to change the setting defaults...

There is no built in function on the Psion that automatically changes the time for daylight saving, though there are some third party apps that do that I think. One application that does the is PsiWallpaper (it was added in a later version: 1.85, Nov 2004 is the latest release), however, this was only written for changing time according to UK DST (last Sunday in March and last Sunday in October) It sets all the flags on the summer time dialog to do this.
You can, however, make the change manually by setting the summertime flag: go into the control Panel, select the Time and Data option and select the Summer Times button, setting summer time for your Home location should sort this out, all you have to do is remember to do it!
Hope this answers your question.

There are adapters Infrared-to-Ethernet like this: http://www.cpx.com/proddetail.asp?c=Infrared%20Products&e=28
You can connect your Psion 5mx / 5mxPRO via Infrared to any existing
Ethernet/DSL networg, it works.
I am selling the iRE201-adapter for 99 EUR.

Re.: Ethernet connection for a Psion 5mx - Is there a ISDN card for the 5MX that will connect it to a broadband line ? I don't think three are that many ISDN lines anymore unless it is or works the same as broadband. But of course I forgot to say that with MochaPPP you can use a broadband line by connecting the 5MX with a serial cable to the PC.

Re.: Sandisk 512 MB - A general advice is to put programs on the CF card but data on the internal disk. The program you read once into memory and that is it, the data you write all the time and writing to a CF card takes more battery power and when the batteries go low it will stop writing in the middle, not so with the internal disk.

Subject: EPOC Sync
How do current versions of synchronisation software perform compared to the last version of PsiWin that I used with my netBook?
I have been quite taken with the features of the new Nokia E90, replacing the 9300 smartphone, but have come to rely on the excellent syncing to Outlook provided by my Palm Treo.
PsiWin was good as far as it went and while I was generally confident synching contacts, agenda synchronisation always felt flakier.
Are there any good reviews of this software available?

I looked on SmallBase website (http://www.corisoft.net/symbian-products/smallbase) and on that page
you can download the last version (V4.03) for the Revo/5mx/Revo and there is also a version for the Series 5.
If you try and register via the link to Handango it takes you to a 'Symbian' link, not much use for the Psion though.
I then emailed :<address truncated> and got a reply from the
Developer (Eric) who was very helpful.
As he advised, I purchased the 'Symbian' version (S60) version from Handango (you have to 'make up' a Symbian code. otherwise you can't purchase it ... put anything in !) and sent him the real code for my netBook ..... problem solved !
It is a great little program, I can recommend it !
Hope this helps a few of you who want to register this program for the Psion's.
Kindest Regards,

Subject: Psion Data
Is there an utility that can cut a single record from one Data file and paste that record to another Data file?
Both data files are setup up with the same labels and formatting - so this will save me alot retyping and possible loss of data.
