- bar a few witty features still not there... and just slightly more expensive than the new MXs in 1999...
... sigh...

Thanks all the same, but it was someone else's q I tried to answer by suggesting the Gold Dacom ISDN Card and Adapter. I still have one which just tested a few times but never really used. I must look for it but I'll be
back to Germany in mid April.

Hi Donald,
some years ago I wrote a macro (macro5) for myself, doing what you want.
Please tell me the structure of your files (label, typ and length) in the same order as shown, when you edit a record. I will change my macro for your files and send you by PM.
Do work you with Macro5 or Assistant or ExtraBars?

Subject: Limitations of CompactFlash Cards
Hi all,
This has probably been covered many, many times
before, so I apologise in advance.
In my keenness (or stupidity) I decided I would
upgrade all the Flash Memory cards on my various
PDA's and this of course included the 5mx and netBook !
I quickly found the limitation on my old Sony
Clié T625 was 128MB (Sony Memory Stick).
Anyway, I ordered a SanDisk 512MB for my 5mx and
two SanDisk 1GB for my netBook (one is for for a PCMCIA adaptor).
The 5mx (16MB) I have, by the way, is one of, if
not THE very last brand new ones sold (from Clove).
Never thought anything more of it until today,
when I tried to install a game onto the 5mx.
It didn't even see the 512MB card ... so I went
down to 256MB and 128MB (both SanDisk's too),
but it kept saying "Card Not Present" (wouldn't format or name).
I tried Viking and PQI cards too of those capacities but still nothing.
In the end I put in a 64MB PQI card, and bingo, it was OK !
Anyway, my question is : "Is the limitation of
CompactFlash cards on the 5mx 64MB ?"
Or am I missing something ?
I haven't got round to the netBook as yet, but am
I going to run into trouble with the SanDisk CompactFlash 1GB cards there ?
Oh dear, this is what happens when I get carried
away by my keenness and money and I go on a spending spree !
Thanks in advance,
Steve Denney

Subject: HW+SW for sale Revo 28 MB !!
I have some Psion stuff for sale. I thought I'd post it here before I go to Ebay..
All items are used and show signs of normal "wear and tear".
This is what I have for sale:
HW:
Revo 16 MB
Mako 28 MB, NOT mistyped it has 28 MB memory
http://www.pda-upgrade.20m.com. Has batt. problems .
Mako 16MB - hinge problem does not full close on it's own.
All above comes with docking stations, no original boxes or power supplies. The two 16 MB machines might suffer from battery problems, however they have survived 3 complete charging cycles without any problems now.
For those who doesn't know, Mako is a USA branded Revo.
PoD Carstand Series 5
Deskstand Series 5
SW:
TomTom Routeplanner Europe
Street planner Millenium Europe - No original CD cover.
EnRoute Europe+ Routeplanner Millenium Europe Upgrade
Picture of all items except Revo dockingstations can be found here:
http://themax.se/tmp/psion/stuff.htmlAll offers considered, buyer pays shipping from Sweden. Send offers to<address truncated>
I will let the whole lot go for 60 GBP or 110 USD.
Cheers
Emil
