...omissis...
...I used my 5mx for all e-mails at one time.
I also have a Gmail account. I have now setup the ability to send and
receive using my Gmail address using Outlook 2002 using my Virgin Net
POP account.

Hi Alan, could you please kindly explain with all the possible links and details, how can you use Gmail on your 5mx ?
(I also don't understand what has to do Outlook 2002 with a 5mx)
Many thanks
:-)

My old Nokia 6020 just worked(TM) as an IR modem using the IR Mobile
settings on the 5mx. When I try to do this on my N73 the 5mx says the
modem isn't responding - although I can see from the phone display that
it thinks it is.
Anyone know what settings I need to set on the 5mx to get it to use the
N73 as an IR modem?
Cheers,
Kev

Subject: Palm give us a consumer Netbook replacement...
Some of us said that Psion was stupid for not producing a consumer (and Symbian) orientated Netbook Pro. Well, Palm are now basically doing what Psion would not do, with their Foleo:

About the only thing it lacks (which is a killer for me) is a touch
screen. Oh, and the battery life is a "only" 5 hours. BTW, it runs a
version of Linux. You can find some tech details here:

I'll just go back to bashing my head against the wall now...

Subject: Palm Foleo
How ironic - Palm brings out a new laptop with a 10" screen.
"The Foleo mobile companion turns on and off instantly and features fast navigation, a compact and elegant design, and a battery that lasts up to 5 hours of use. Its applications include email, full-screen web browser, and editors or viewers for common business documents such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files. The Foleo stays synchronized via Bluetooth wireless technology and uses the smartphone's radio or the Foleo's built-in Wi-Fi radio for general Internet connectivity."
Sounds pretty close to a netBook huh? ;-)
