Can u confirm that the 9500 would not act as a IR Fax modem (ie. faxing docs right from my netbook/5mx using the the IR port from netbook to 9500s IR port as the modem)
I'm afraid that I'm not able to hlep on this as I no longer have my 5mx set up and I have never used that combination.

Hi,
the postings conc. faxing with the commi remember me, that I have problems, too.
I can send faxes with the email/fax application. But when I send a fax to my mobile phone, it will be received only by the mailbox.
I'm looking for a possibility to make the incoming faxes visible at the commi as text or pdf or any picture.
Or is there a possibility to receive faxes directly with the email/fax application?
Rolf, I cannot help you as Vodafone Ireland does not allow the receiving of faxes via my mobile number, unlike Vodafone UK. However, they operate a different system which allows send of faxes to my mobile number. These faxes are stored on their voice mail system and I may then re-direct them to a fax machine (when convenient) - not fully mobile but useful in emergencies.

Hello Malvin,
Is the speed the same on the PC and the Mako?
Push (Ctrl+L) in the main screen, set it to 'cable' and the speed to '115200' and do the same in Psiwin. Go Psiwin icon on your desktop right mouse and choose 'properties' or something like that, because I have only a Dutch PsiWin version. In PsiWin go to 'connection' and choose there also the connection speed '115200'
When PsiWin is activated go to the PsiWin sign, right mouse and choose 'connect' and I hope it will connect the Mako.

Re.: JABP Banking program on Windows Mobile & Java - No, I am not thinking of changing as long as my netBook will function. I understand that the version for the smartphones is not as elaborate as the one for the Psions and why should I work on such a small screen if I can do the same on my netBook and not kill my eyes ? But it is good to know that the possibility does exist ! Thanks
Best regards,
Itamar

Subject: Email attachments
There is an issue with attachements in Epoc Email, when the attachment name is long and contains accented letters. The copy process runs normally, but at the end it stucks and a dialog box opens, speaking of an incorrect name. Then the connexion with the mail box closes.
Does anybody knows of a work-around (For example, when I save an attachment directly on the orange site, the attachment names are modified : a space becomes " _" and an accented letter becomes "-".) ? Has it anything to do with mime encoding ?

Psion PsiWin DOES run on Vista ! All views are available in the PC Explorer (that is not the case with XP). Backup is OK. Copy also. I did not try sync.
