Subject: Re: The Digest Help needed with email settings and SMTP Auth
Hi
I have asked this before but could really do with help setting my SMTP Auth programme so I can send email from my Psion Netbook equipped Series 7. NB I have a WIFI card.
I can receive emails and browse the web but I can't fathom out how to use the SMTP Auth program or set it up. I have downloaded it and did start to try to use the script but for some reason I was never able to get it to work. I did manage to set up a local email and it sent to that but wouldn't go to any external server.
It would be really really useful to be able to use the Netbook on the move and this is the last piece of the jigsaw for me if I am able to do this.
I really don't want to have to switch to another platform simply to be able to send an email, which I know the machine is capable of.
If any kind soul would be prepared to help I would be very grateful.

Subject: Battery life Psion 5mx
You may be interested to know that B&Q are selling 18 cell packs of Duracell+ AA batteries for £5.28.
I am getting about 30 hrs out of a pair of these on the MX.
My 5MX pro does around 17hrs on these and around 11hrs on a pair of Uniross 1300 rechargeables. The Uniross are selected as the best pair I have as capacity is variable.
The Lithium batteries are now on sale at £5.99 for 6 at the site mentioned.
