Subject: OPL on the 5MX
I have recently had to make some changes to some "old" software and
after much delving on the internet found the commands I needed in the System
OPX in drive Z:. This lead on to my obtaining a copy of the Symbian OS
SDK which has listings, syntax, and explanations of virtually everything about
the S5 including a spreadsheet of all the "panic" codes. ( but not
how the Mail files are constructed!). As a relative newcomer this is a treasure
trove and will make my OPL efforts more like "the real thing". A
version of the SDK is now available for download at
www.pscience5.net/psifilesepoc.htm. My copy from another source includes
the S3 and S5 SDKs.

John

Subject: nokia PC suite
I've just installed the new Nokia suite and at last I can use the bluetooth
connection with my 9500 which is great. But when I drag a file across it
doesn't convert it as before and I can't see any settings to do this. I wonder
if anyone can help?

Subject: drug database,

Re.: drug database - There was a program called HebRead that was developed specifically
to read hebrew texts in Palm format. However, with the same program it is
possible to read all PDB files that were created for the palm format. You could
try that program if you can still find it.

Subject: Netbook,

Re.: Netbook - There is no difference between the netBook and the 5MX, they
have the same operating system and the same programs. The differences are the
size and the colour screen. The list of programs I sent you I use on the
netBook, I don't own a 5MX anymore. You will find the netBook a lot easier to
work with and a lot more user friendly, although not as easy to carry around as
a 5MX. Oh, another difference is that you can use a modem card to connect to
wireless internet but do your research as not all cards are compatible.
Best regards,
Itamar

Subject: MailArc Mail to Data program
Has anyone a copy of this which works with a 5MX and backs up the mail with the
correct date? I seem to have a Beta version with the wrong date extraction
procedure,
