Hi Chris

I run  <file://www.psionflexi.co.uk> www.psionflexi.co.uk and can help you
out.  As well as supplying and fitting the flexi I also have all the spares
for the 5mx machines.  I could offer you a number of options:-

1. I repair the parts on your existing machine
2. I sell you an 'average' quality machine cheaply
3. I sell you a 'top' quality machine with no accessories

I would expect options to range from £40-£100 depending on what you want.
If you want to discuss further then please contact me via the web site.

Subject: IR mobilephone as modem

I still have my 9300 and my E62 as well as my E71.  The E71 doesn't have IR but my other two do.  How hard is it to use one of those as a modem for my 5mx.  If that would work that would be nice when out and since it's so much more easy to type with I could dust it off and used it again.

Thanks,
Bobby

latest version is 2.3.3 - mypsionsupport seems to be down.
Try this:

BTW, I am still stocking and selling Psion 1, II, 3mx, 5mx, 7 / netbook,
netbook PRO, Workabout and a lot of accessories. Thanks for keeping "the
last Psion store on earth" in mind :)

Download v. 2.3.3 from Gareth Saunders' site:
http://www.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/psion/psiwin233_32.html- or buy his software disc if he's still offering it - I haven't checked.

Subject: Where is AardWord?

Many moons ago there was a program named AardWord that ran on Palm PDAs. I've used it very frequently since 2003 on my m515. Even now I use it many times a week. The company was AardAsNails.com and the support person was Nick Hoggard who also held the copyright. The program does anagrams and finds words with missing letters as per a crossword puzzle. Its dictionary is truly remarkable with more words than most quite large paper dictionaries.

I sent an e-mail to the company asking if the program is available for any newer PDAs. It bounced.

Does anyone *know* if Nick Hoggard and/or Aardword is still around? Or if the program is still supported or has been enhanced (and by whom)? The URL http://www.aardasnails.com/takes me to a Russian language site. I don't read Russian but I don't think it's what I want.
