Unless you've been under a rock for the past year, this seems nothing
special compared to the many other netbooks that have been released so
far.

Re.: Accented vowels I am quite sure it must be possible also th put the most used ones in MACRO5 or Assistant as shortcuts and than use shortcuts to enter these accented vowels. This might be easier than remembering tghe ASCII code.

Re.: Garmin eTrek I found back an old Garmin eTrek GPS that I used in the car with my 5MX and later my mBook as well as the in-car cable to connect both to each other as well as the cigarette lighter of the car. If anyone is interested in this, please contact me by email. It worked very well at the time with Streetplanner and Route.

Re.: iGo8 Recently I downloaded this GPS program for my HTC Touch dual phone. Apparently the program is written for large customers like sealines and transport Companies and you can easily find the full version and maps on the internet (if you don't mind using such sources). It is a very neat and good program which in my humble opinion works better than TomTom. It has some sleek features like showing hills and mountains in 3D, showing buildings in the street you drive in. It has also the possibillity to add databases of speedcameras as well as POI files for all countries in Europe. You can find maps for most parts of the world, I even found the map of Israel and tested it last week during my holiday. It spoke in Hebrew and gave a Hebrew keyboard to find street names.
If anyone needs help with the set-up please write in the digest.

Itamar
