Hi!
The trick to getting to the connector is this:
1. Backup!
2. Remove all batteries.
3. Remove the memory modules.(Under those silly little covers)
4. Pull the hinge pins. (One can only be pulled after the memory modules
are removed)
5. Remove the netBook sticker.
6. Remove the screw which was hidde nunder the sticker.
7. Lift the plastic frame where the sticker sat out of the machine...
Reassembly is just as easy, just do the steps backwards.
Or so I think...
(It's been a couple of years since I had to open my netBook last... )
:-)

Dear Friends,
only recently, I realized that my previous thanking message, did
not get through as I did mistakenly send it to the ....old (and
obviously wrong !) Digest email address, still stored on my Mail
system !
:-(((
I sincerely apologise, I repeat it here and warmly thank you ALL again !
Ciao from Roma,
:-)

Hi Christoph, Donald, Gernot, Kees, Richard, Trygve,
thank you for your hints.
I dismantled the netBook, cleaned the contacts and put a paper under the contacts. Let's see, whether the calibration remains now without changes.
I'm as before delighted, how fast and how many replies I got from this mailing list!

Can anyone help me track down a program that I dimly recall using years ago on my 5mx? It was a small and simple thing that enabled you to make formatted blank documents Word, Sheet, whatever and keep them handy. Templates in fact. I can't remember its name, and Google hasn't turned it up, but the idea that it could save me keyclicks has started nagging at me.
TIA
Chris
