Nokia software seems to be very porly written. You have discivered that it takes iover the ".sis" extension. A while ago I discovered that Nokia PC Suite takes over ".jar" which is used by all largish & properly written Java programs.

The way around it is to change the "File Association" for .jar or .sis or whatever to the program you want to run when you double click files of that type.

Alternatively, right click the file and choose "Open With...". Then browse to the program you want.

Actually, I had better luck with installing one application (MobiReader) from a .sis file on my PC via PsiWin, rather than from a .sis file on my 5mx directly.

The reason I hadn't tried this sooner was that the PsiWin route was
blocked when I clicked on a .sis file on my PC, Nokia Application Installer would open. I use this with my Nokia 9300i phone and I don't know how to disable it without uninstalling it.
