Any thoughts regarding the idea of converting the 5mx applications to work on the iPhone/iPod Touch?  So for it's my favorite hardware replacement for the Psion; Agenda would be the most important in my opinion.  Word, Data, and Sheet probably just need good conversion software.  Of course I'm version curious to see if they come out with the, much rumored, Apple Tablet.

I have set up a new website tobidog.com which is mainly aimed at locating the current contact points for registering programs as sites drop out , existing servers close and authors' email addresses change over the last decade.

If it is clear that there is no other way forward general registration codes will be sought. There are some excellent shareware programs out there that really need registration to enjoy fully.

For collectors I will try to keep an eye on Ebay for second hand commercial programs.

This will try and keep current work started by others but now subject to change.

Regards

John.

Hi all!

I use my Psion 5mx all the time but since a Visa update about 4 or 5 months ago, I cannot get Psiwin to work, or even run on Vista to back up my trusty machine which now has a lot of important files on it that I am desperate to save!

Haven't posted a message for several years, but I do hope there's a solution to this!

Cheers!

Nicky

The touch screens on 2 of my 5mxs suddenly stopped working. I an maneuver around using the keyboard, but it's a bit awkward. I tried a soft, then a hard reset, but no change. I discovered that if I try to calibrate the screen, when I touch Point 1, I get a message that it's too far from Point 1.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong and how it can be fixed?
