Dear Jaap

So, you now have a complete colour solution to run the ER5 emulator on your netbook (Windows or Linux under WINE).  Like others, I too have been following this with great interest and I have a Windows netbook that I am thinking of running in this way.  However, the thread has become long and complex now and I have lost track of all the opx and opo files, what they do and where to get them.  So I wonder if you might like to assemble all your knowledge into one article, either here in the Digest or on a blog/ website somewhere, for the benefit of me and others?  I should be more than happy to host it on my blog if you have no suitable location to put it.  For me it would need to be a complete "how to" together with the names and download locations of all the necessary files.

Many thanks if you feel able to do this, if you want to use my blog space, e-mail me off list at:

Best wishes
Austin

That's great news. As a relatively recent ASUS EEE (10" LCD, Win XP) user I've been very happy with the machine, its capabilities and long battery life. I expected it to replace the mBook, but someone I still find myself using the mBook daily!

So at this point is there a definitive download that encompasses all the most recent EPOC OPL emulator changes and is available for all us Windows netbook users? It would be handy to be able to run this definitive emulator version on our new hardware, as our Psions slowly crumble away...!

Thanks,
Andy

Subject: vCal on Psion 5mx

Hello,

I need to import schedules into my psion agenda. The web application I use at work supports vCal exports. I got vCal for the psion in order to import these .vcs files but it seems the psion app is based on a rather old version of the iCal/vCal format, and import doesn't work well. For instance, EVENTS are imported at the right date, but the time is not taken into account.
Please share yous experience if you use vCal on the psion (what works, doesn't work for you)
Has anyone improved that program ( as the author no longer supports it and released the source code) ?

Thank you for your help
