Sounds to me more like a fundamental fault with the OS.
Why can't old programs run in an updated OS????
Alan
Hi,
This is probably a really stupid question but I have Windows XP on my laptop and I have never been able to connect my Series 5 or Revo, even though I got the USB kit from Expansys.
Luckily I have a really old laptop with Windows 95 but obviously I'd prefer to use this laptop.
Does anyone know how to get connected with XP?
Many thanks,
Craig
Many thanks to Richard von Stappershoe for passing his research on a possible location of this program to me. After a couple of emails I now have a copy of it .My fellow psion user and myself will now try it out.
A copy can now be found through www.tobidog.com and a review may appear there at a later date.

In answer to Balazs' question about railway simulators:
I know of only one program that answers that description, and I'm not sure it will be satisfactory. That's Adelino Oliveira's AORailSim, a very simplistic simulation of a railway junction. Graphically it's very simple, using lines for the rails and circles with letters in them for the trains. I reviewed it in EPOC Entertainer 2. If you're interested in looking at the game it's available at the EPOC32 Game Database. URLs:

I just bought a new PC with Windows 7. Thought you might like to know my experience with PsiWin.
It loaded just fine except for one thing. That little "MyPsion" icon didn't appear on the desktop. I put shortcuts to things link backup, restore, copy-anywhere, etc in a folder also a shortcut "MyPsion" I found in Program Files.
Both my netBook and 5mx connect fine.
I seem to remember that on my previous PCs when I clicked on MyPsion properties one of the options was to have Psion's time sync with the PC. I can't find this option anymore. Guess I'll have to just remember to check and set the Psion's time every once in a while. Maybe one of you know how to find this option.

I just discovered that there's that little thing that wiggles when you connect down in what used to be called the system tray. If I right-click on it there's a Properties option and the time sync is there.
