Hi there, that's correct that the 5mx doesn't understand the UTF-8 encoding. Instead you should use the ISO-8859-15 encoding, which is Latin 9, West European.

Epocsync can be downloaded from www.freepoc.org.

I recently reformated my hard drive and re installed Windows
XP ,(needed every 2 to 3 years from my experience. )

PSIWIN 2.3.3 loaded and ran 1st time. I must say I had problems
when I first bought my pc as it had an earlier PSIWIN on it which
required a program I downloaded fron Pscience5 to clear the
last remnants out before 2.3.3 would run.

I often just use the CF card as a quick means of transferring data as
my card reader runs at way over 115kb.

Regards  John.
