Cheers Michael

I'll give that a go.

My netBook/S7 is normally kept to the right of the mouse on this
desktop and permanently plugged in.

I keep my passwords on the Psion used to access websites on the
desktop.  (and more)
On the Psion, <Ctrl> + tap the password, followed by <Ctrl> + C,
places the word into the clipboards of Psion and desktop.  Then <Ctrl>
+ V on the desktop and then continue.

More useful with software registration codes that are rather long and
'was that O or 0', is a thing of the past.

Works both ways.

A Psion is the best accessory for a desktop!

On a personal note -

My secondhand Panasonic CF-19 Toughbook arrived this morning.  Running
XP Pro and with a touch screen, is almost a bit bigger netBook.

Following on from recent postings; I now need to install the EPOC SDK
and then I'll have a bigger netBook.  I'm hoping that the PCMCIA card
used in the netBook for the drive E: CF card will also work in theToughbook.

Finally I found time to put my attempt to describe how to install the
Epoc Emulator on a Windows or Linux PC and to customise it for ta large monitor or to the small EeePc type screens on my website.
You can read  it and download the zipped files at:

Don't hesitate to mail me (see bottom webpage) for questions or suggestions to improve it.

Subject: Psion 5mx pro and smtp

For many months it has been impossible for me to send smtp mails from
my Psion using infrared  connection to my Nokia 6230i phone. In the past I have used local sim cards in China, Kazakstan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey etc., with no difficulty. I am not a geek but I do know that something has changed. I have downloaded smtpAuth but it still doesn't seem to work. Should I alter settings on my phone(which is with o2 in the UK).Access to pop3 mail works OK.  Could someone suggest what I might be doing wrong, please.
