Since the 5MX lacks PCMCIA slots I think you're out of luck as far aswirelss cards go. The only thing I can think of are devices made by
Clarinet Systems that allowed you to connect via infrared to your homenetwork.

To Peter,
That sounds strange; I usually backup in the form of "copy disc" to
copy all my system files to a CF; on hard reset and restore I have
never had a problem with all my contacts returning. Are you sure you
are putting the backed-up .cdb file in the correct place, and
deleting the newly-created blank file?
To Cathy,
There is a device called Ethir-Lan made by Clarinet:
http://www.clarinetsys.com/en/product-esb101.htmOne end plugs into your broadband ethernet socket - I would be
suprised if your BT home hub didnt have one spare on the back. The
other end has an IR eye, which you point at the psion, and there is asimple sequence of 'dialling up' settings to enter on the psion to
get you online. I would type them in here but my poor psion is away
at Psionflexi.co.uk getting its screen cable attended to.
I have one, it was very cheap on ebay (from America, so I also had to
get a UK mains adapter which cost as much as the device itself!), and
it works just fine (most of the time!)
