FileNote by Edo provides more extensive macro capability on the Nokia S80platform. FileNote's macros can interact with any application on the S80platform as well as providing superb macro capabilities to FileNote as afile manager.
I think that there are over 60 macros published on the FileNote web site athttp://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/FileNote/files/Macros%20%26%20Plugins/Thepublished macros cover a whole spectrum of areas such as:
.. Add undated To-Do item with note to Agenda (Calendar)
.. Pop up a timetable on screen for up to 6 timetables or weekly planners, itineraries etc.
.. Routines to assist with editing in text programs
.. ScrapBook macro picks up the higlighted text from any edit screen and addsit to the beginning of the ScrapBook.txt file with date&time header.
.. Paste pre-defined phrases and even text files of unlimited length intodocuments, text messages and email.
.. options for editing / navigating documents in the Documents application... Over 50 options for managing Calendar entries
.. encrypt files
.. quickly exit running app
.. Compare files by content (byte to byte)

Let's be honest: you will never find anything like Macro or OPL on anon-Psion platform. The real question is: can you find something that doesthe equivalent on other platforms? Most people dont want to have to learnsomething new, so they stick with what they have and dont bother looking.
Has anybody have a copy of this that they would like to sell as I wasoutbid recently on the only copy on Ebay for
years.

Hello everyone,
EPOC Entertainer 24, the issue for February 2010, is now available
from its home at the URL below. EPOC Entertainer
is a magazine leaflet about games for the EPOC32 platform. Computerscovered include the Oregon Scientific Osaris,
the Psion Revo/Revo Plus and Diamond Mako, the Psion Series 5, 5mx and5mx Pro, the Ericsson MC218, the Geofox One,
and the Psion Series 7 and netBook. The magazine leaflet is publishedmonthly (usually!) in PDF format, as an A5
leaflet to be printed on both sides of A4 paper.
In this month's issue, there is news on availability of various games,
a review of Adam Sissman's LogJam, another of
Michael Hadlich's Shipmania, and a look at emulating an unusual
platform for games, the HP48 programmable
calculator. As usual, downloads related to this month's reviews areavailable at the web site.

Hi,
Thanks for all your advice re CF/PC cards, much appreciated.
Now then, can anyone expert in Psion Sheet tell me the following?
In Excel spreadsheets etc. if I want to count up the number of textfields with specific content I can use the
CountIF function. i.e. =COUNTIF(A1:A20;W)
This will count the number of times "W" occurs in the field.
I'm trying to total a list of Wins, Losses and Draws from a sheet
column > (W,D,L)
CountIF isn't an active function in Psion Sheet, does anyone know analternative method?
Thanks.
Peter
