Hi

abiword has been ported to the n900 but gnumeric hasn't. There are office viewers in the for of docstogo which costs or koffice viewer which is free.
Abiword seems functional but I haven't really used it much.
I am still of the opinion that the n900 is a work in progress and whislt there is the potential to replace a psion it is a year off that target.
I say this due to lack of rich applications such as office editors, no sat nav, weak pim software and syncing with online services such as google and exchange is weak.
Whilst you gain in other areas such as internet browser, social media and technical specification others areas are weak.
You could always use the browser for rich applications but again you cannot beat native applications.
For programming python is being used extensively, but again as I have not used this language I cannot comment on the development tools.
Lastly build quality is to be questioned as my camera lense cover has now broken. I have ordered a replacement from a finland store as I cannot be bothered with return to base warranties taking ages to replace a flawed item. Hopefully when mugen release their 2400 mah battery their cover will be better.
Compared to the psion, e90 or n810 the n900 build quality feels cheap.
Should you have any further questions then please ask and I will try to answer them.

Thanks
Craig
